💼 Project Summary: Permit Management – Elite Sync & ArcGIS Integration

As Product Manager at ImageTrend, I led the modernization of the Permit Management module within the License Management platform, delivering seamless integration with ImageTrend Elite and leveraging ArcGIS for advanced input validation and geospatial accuracy.

🔍 Key Contributions & Outcomes

  • Elite Sync Integration:
Architected and implemented a unified application push from a Permit Management software to ImageTrend Elite for Fire Inspectors. This integration eliminated manual data entry, reduced errors, and ensured that agencies and inspectors always had access to the most current permit data.

  • ArcGIS Input Validation:
Integrated ArcGIS mapping and geospatial validation directly into the permit application workflow. Applicants can now select and validate facility locations using ArcGIS feature layers ensuring accurate address data and compliance with jurisdictional boundaries.

  • Workflow Automation:
Enhanced permit workflows to automatically trigger update records, send correspondence, and process driven auto post to Fire Marshal Inspection software. This automation supports reducing administrative overhead for both agencies and applicants.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborated with state agencies, GIS specialists, and Elite product teams to gather requirements, validate integration points, and ensure the solution met both regulatory and operational needs. Conducted user training and feedback sessions to drive adoption and continuous improvement.

  • Business Impact:
The combined Elite sync and ArcGIS integration have dramatically improved data accuracy, reduced turnaround times for permit approvals, and empowered agencies with actionable geospatial insights. Agencies now benefit from a unified, automated, and location-aware permit management process.
